Congratulations!!!! Hooray! And to answer your question on my egg post, yes it's fine to eat the first eggs as well as the littles. Enjoy!! Glad they're laying before winter. Ours started before winter and they laid almost the entire season - only about 2 weeks with very few eggs.

Too much fun... I would love to have a couple hens, but I don't think my husband will go there...
