How to create an invisible Chicken Tractor
How to create an invisible Chicken Tractor....ok, not really. I can't even give my self an A for effort on this one. The only invisible quality about it is that it's located in a spot not visible from my neighbors house!

Garden Chores
Even though it's almost Thanksgiving it really hasn't been that cold. The leaves have turned and most have fallen, but it still just doesn't feel as late in the year as it actually is. Regardless, garden chores need to be done!!!
The garden has been cleaned out and I put the girls in there as much as possible to let them fertilize next years crop
The compost pile on the right is almost empty, while the next one over has been filling up fast

For those of you that are interested in the floor project
Well, I am proud to say the floor is installed and grouted, which took two long weekends and many many hours to accomplish. I have to thank my wonderful, wonderful wife who was right beside me the entire way and probably installed more tile than I did.....I was very impressed by her throughout this project! We still have a few details left to do, mostly installation of baseboards and doors, but are 99% done at this point....
you can see the old linoleum in this shot, we had to install cement board over all of it

Grouting is a messy tedious job!
finished work, the dark lines are where the grout was still wet

Around Town
I drove around town last week (just before the snow) and took a few pictures, being close to the ocean, we only got about a half inch of snow, but where I work (an hour west), they got 6 inches, and some of the towns have postponed Halloween until Thursday due to power outages!
These stone walls can be found all around my area, way back when, the farmers dug up stones while plowing their fields and used them to build walls around their land
